Welcome to our farm, to our story, to a little bit of our daily life as we move towards self sufficiency. In a world full of picture perfect social media, I wanted to step back in time a bit and bring the simple back to the surface. Many years ago, I was a prolific blogger, about all sorts of things, but mostly health and wellness surrounding pre conception, pregnancy, birth, and parenting. As social media platforms became all the rage I moved away from blogging and recently have found myself longing to blog again.

We are a Catholic family living on 1/2 an acre in Zone 6a. Our blog is focused on sharing the joys, challenges, failures, successes and goals we have in providing more for our growing family. I hope you are able to take what works for you, gain confidence, and leave what you do not need behind. In a world of busy, I hope this little corner can be a place of quiet learning for you and yours.
